About us

Full Spectrum Solutions, Inc. was founded in 1997 by Michael and Diane Nevins and is located in Jackson, Michigan.

The Nevins experienced the negative effects of Malillumination, or lack of natural light, firsthand when they moved from Colorado to Michigan during the winter months in 1995. Michael Nevins, President and CEO of Full Spectrum Solutions, Inc., researched available full spectrum lighting products and found that their quality and durability needed to be substantially improved. He also perceived a serious need for balanced and healthy lighting in work and learning environments of people who spend the majority of their day indoors.

Full Spectrum Solutions, Inc. has quickly grown into the leading manufacturer of energy-efficient, full spectrum lighting solutions for home and office applications. By working directly with world renowned research partners and testing facilities, including the California Lighting Technology Center at UC Davis and the Enhanced Spectrum Lab at the University of Michigan, Full Spectrum Solutions, Inc. offers more than 200 lighting solutions known and marketed today under the names BlueMax™, UltraLux® and EverLast®.

We are strong believers in practicing what we preach, so when we outgrew our facility in 2008, we decided to build a state-of-the-art "green" facility. We completed construction of our new 72,000 sq. ft. world headquarters and manufacturing facility in the beginning of April 2010. In addition to our commitment to providing innovative and high quality lighting products, Full Spectrum Solutions, Inc. is dedicated to giving back to the community as much as possible. We contribute to the following local and national non-profit organizations through financial donations and volunteer work.
